There should not be any widespread torque converter issues with an 07 as it would have been built after the recall F37 fix on earlier models (especially the 05s), and would have the more robust torque converter in it from the factory. My 07 has no problems what so ever, and never has.
Look at Wilmo's KJ FAQ sticky, where it talks about the transmission issues:

You can check you VIN number against the range affected. After that I will concede that there maybe the odd 545RFE that develops problems, just as other brand autos do from time to time.
If you feel it is dangerous, don't drive it, get it fixed under warranty and/or get rid of it.
The 545RFE has been used for years in these vehicles:
* 2001– Jeep Grand Cherokee (4.7L, 4.7L H.O., 5.7L Hemi)
* 2002-2007 Jeep Liberty (2002-early 2003 3.7L, and all diesel applications)
* 2003– Dodge Ram (3.7L, 4.7L, 5.7L Hemi)
* 2003– Dodge Dakota (4.7L, 4.7L H.O.)
* 2003- Dodge Durango (4.7L, 5.7L)
* 2006- Jeep Commander (4.7L, 5.7L Hemi)
There are some very powerful units driving through the 545RFE over a long period of time. I certainly accept that the torque converter was suspect in some percentage of the KJ population, but that does not mean we all need to rush out and scrap our Jeeps.
