Not to nitpick, but the Libs stuffed it, not the Tax Office. The ATO are just the poor bastards that have to try and enforce crap policy.

So I noticed with OS stuff now, ends up nearly the same price as over here, except for Jeep Dealer prices, still over the top. For small stuff I may get a mate in Illinois to get it then post it over to me.

WK2 Jeeps mentions the frequency of the units, might be wrong freq. and ones for 2016 and beyond Grands not compatiable with earlier models, that might be it.

Have had a review of some part numbers for these things, been some changes and it seems there are quite a few numbers floating around, Im pretty sure 433mhz is the freq, so may pay to check matches with places like https://www.moparpartsgiant.com/part...Overland%204WD) just to see what Jeep tick off on ... of course RockAuto listings as well is a good cross reference .

It also seems some after market won't clone to the system without a tool while some will just connect up once driven...........

Just research as mine are still fine and at the prices they want replacing 4 wouldn't be a biggy on my job list...........

The last Tyre Pressure Sensor I bought a few months ago for mine was 433 mhz...off ebay and it works fine. Did set me back $90.00 though, I think you can buy cheaper.

Jeep OE Replacement TPMS Sensor - OE P/N 56029398AB Freq 433Mhz × 1
(Programmable 314/433Mhz OE Replacement TPMS MX Sensor 1 - Rubber Snap in Valve)

Zylux Distribution Pty Ltd

The tyre dealer who replaced it reckons he had to "tune" it in to get the system to recognise it...though he led to believe that may be the case when ever a TPMS is replaced.
