Check out my Ride(s)

Oil Change and filter change are now Done.
The Gulf Western 10W - 40 seems to run really Well in the big 6 Cylinder Diesel.

Now to get my Electric brake controller and Anderson plug installed on the Towbar.
Been Quoted $1k parts and labour.
Thats for the RedArc Elite Pro V3 unit. Which is a few hundred bucks in itself.

Does that sound about right ?

Just getting back onto to the topic of oils, has anyone used this ATF and is it compatible with the JEEP 8 Speed ??

Brings tears to the eyes seeing the price to get these things installed and some that I have seen aren't done properly anyway.......... not a fan of the tow pro myself......

The Gulf and Western says its specced for ZF6/8 so buying a 20lt drum is certainly cost effective, look for the specials at Supercheap......... a lot of oils have advanced so its not just a special breed of oil nowadays.... I have used Penrite BMV and now Nulon Low Viscosity Multi-Vehicle Automatic Fluid and the world hasn't come to an end......

Thats what I paid for the same set up...anderson plug and tow pro elite...and yep Drover...as we discussed....the job wasnt real flash and some 'adjusting' has been done since installation...if I wasnt so 'scared' of 'cooking' the electrickery in these modern marvels it would have been a job I'd tackle myself with much much more attention to detail and product longevity carried out during the install....but....just not brave enough

Ive seen the jobs done by some of these experts on vehicles and caravans, thats what I'm scared of and DiY them myself ........... I still think my Anderson run from jumper pins under the bonnet is far better than direct off a battery under the seat .............
