I have a JK with 4" lift and 35s, supercharged and all the bells and whistles, I have also fallen into the extreme group with my dirty old GQ with 6" lift, 2" body lift and 36 Simexes. My Jeep doesn't even come out at the moment, as much as I love wheeling, and eventually you will be the same as me and everyone else here, its not much fun having cars that are capable of going just about anywhere, and spending the whole day winching 4 cars on all terrains on two tracks and calling it a day.

I've now got to the point that a group of cars of 4, 5 at the absolute limit is all I go with, wheeling with. A BT50 on all terrains doesn't sound like fun to me, albeit I know it will be a blast for the BT50 owner. I'm not saying he shouldn't be out there and I'm not saying I'm better or anything else.

I'm simply saying, most of us that are regulars on here just don't want to sit and watch all day or be responsible for damage to your vehicle. In fact the small group of us that wheel regularly, Furkew, Jono, Yanky and Eddie (the only one of us with a real Jeep, did you see the article on it in Modified 4WDs issue #81?), usually don't even bother putting our trips on here just for that reason. We just text each other and go.

I would love to have you come out one weekend with us if your interested, but be ready for some serious 4wd and the time of your life, as Furks said, a easy trip with Jono is nothing easy, i was on that one Furkew mentioned and like he said, a couple hundred meters on the first track, going down hill we all had to winch, but i wouldn't have it any other way. See you out there.

Did I mention how good Eddie's TJ is?
Ditto.

I also added paragraphs and some grammar to your original message so my eyes would stop bleeding.

What are friends for?

Hey Magnum, i understand, no offence taken,

hence why i tried to make it as clear as possible what type of a wheeling even this was, and how capapble the trucks are or are not so that we do not get someone come along and get bored, or not enjoy themselves...

i have just recently gotten back into wheeling, and am happy taking it slow and getting to know my wrangler which i have had only a little while now.

I am keen to take you guys up on that offer of heading out doing some harder stuff... but i dont really want to break parts and bend pannels as i have to drive it to work as my daily on the Monday.

No stress, all good, i have just seen in the past participation levels on the forum aranged drives tends to show little interest, and i get the feeling that we all have " comp style built capapble trucks" but we only get them dirty when it rains on ashphalt....

ill keep trying, and post trips up, would love to see more trips posted up so there is something to join in with. meeting other AJOR members etc. etc.

so keep me in the loop dont hessitate to PM me when you and FURKEW head out, i have limitations with the minister of war and finnace aswell.. but will try to get along to the trips with enough notice.

CHeers.

Looking good, looks nice, I am not a mud bog hole lover, my idea of getting them dirty is anything not bitumen, that looks like fun AND hairy!

Default Sunday 21st - Day Trip - Toolangi/Neerim

I've been thinking ( yes it hurt). I did a mount Selma trip this time last year and we found a bit of snow at the end so who's up for the same in a couple of weeks.
The big pig now has a snorkel so that river crossing we did will be easy.
I'll not be posting an official thread, but Saturday 5th of July is probably the date I'm looking at. PM me if interested.

Cheers Eddie, nice little addition at the end, I was obviously more tired that I thought I was, I don't remember writing that last bit
