As you know I've all ready given you some of my views from the other side, but this latest BS has just astounded me.

I still wonder how different this would be it it was a stock motor with no modified performace chip???????
I'm just glad I dont have to be the middle man in this shit anymore.
Good luck, but unfortunitly you do need it.
I take your point.... however I have pressed Chrysler many times to "Blame the DP-Chip" so to speak and they will not do so, not in writing anyway.

The people at DP Chip are just on standby to take up this fight for me if Chrysler blame engine failure on their chip. On their web site it mentions they will fully warranty any damage caused to an engine if proven that the DP Chip was the cause. I have discussed this with their MD and he has been very helpful both technically and legally.

JM - Q - I hope you tell your dealer your reasons why you are not purchasing a CRD and tell him to inform senor Chrysler management please

Guys and Gals - I hope that you all do what JM asks here. This is an important part of having him and all customers treated fairly.

I cant believe this stuff....I read this post start to end with a cup of tea in hand and couldn't stop....

Where does CJ get off doing this to customers.....if you do pay them the $1400 will they give you a copy of their assessment and also what therefore do they put the cause of the failure down to?

I am glad I drive a shitebox TJ and to think I was thinking of getting a Grand when the SS comes off lease this year.......no f'n way.

It puts a bitter taste in your mouth I used to endorse the JEEP brand but with the bad customer service I have received, the excessive price of parts, and the continuing problems with all the new Jeep models I just don't have the faith in the company or product anymore.

Yep Ive been looking around at replacing my jeep with a (deep breath) hilux or prado recently. Its more for the piece of mind that I will never get when owning jeep.

I also convinced a mate to take a look at a patriot over an x-trail last week; he's now one step away from buying one this weekend. I think I'll give him a heads ups on what to expect from DC/jeep customer service. Chances are very low but I would also hate for him to go through what jenkomagic has been through since i was the one who referred him to the brand.

Surely you feel that you are in the right and have nothing to hide?

Nothing to hide NCW just have to be careful what I say especially when there could be people like yourself who work for the dealer where my rig is at present
