Lpg will have nothing to do with it
So your 2000 must start on Lpg? My 96 starts on fuel and flicks over to Lpg almost instantly so when my fuel pump died its a no start
While running can you change over to petrol? and will it stay running?
what pressure did you get at the rail? should be about 30ish and hold for a bit?
I am in the middle of putting a new fuel pump in a 99 at the moment so if decide to replace the fuel pump I got a OSIRS brand fuel pump module off eBay for $79 free postage I cant say how good they are as it is untested
If yours is like my 96 and the fuel tank is in front of the rear axel pass rear wheel off and side access easy to change unlike having to drop the tank in the 99
