I am about to fit Adjustable Lower Control arms
Which end does the jam nut point...rear or forward ?...it will go in both ways

I presume the "bend" also points downwards ?

Probably doesn’t matter with that style, but most I’ve seen have the adjuster up at the frame side.

They look good and will really help you dial in the geometry..

Cheers,

I swapped them around

a poster on another forum stated they are also upside down ??
(ie bend should angle up)

that is not supported by that JKS instruction, or Youtubes, (except in long arm setups)

they came with no Instructions

They are not upside down Tony.
The bend is supposed to be down.

Cheers,

Thanks Alex

I took it for a quick test run (without a wheel alignment)..it does need some correction to steering wheel angle, however, I could not detect any vibration at all.

steady speeds from 80 to 115kmph

at about 93kmph there used to be a very slight vibration, but this seemed to be gone

My steering was also noticeably heavier, it was light as anything before, and it returns to centre better

In addition my 255/70/16 no longer scrape the LCA on full lock

I set my PS LCA ~8mm longer than the DS one

I suppose having an XJ and you cant feel any vibrations at all has to be considered successful ?

UCA bushes still to be done
