Why only 1 tow hook on the back?

I see now.

On the web site of Jeep USA both the JK and the JL Wranglers come with tow hooks as standard. Even the Sport models.

Australian Wranglers do not come with tow hooks! Strange.

I think the first mod anyone using a Wrangler for what it's designed for, replaces the front bumper with an aftermarket bull bar that comes with recovery points.

Do not use the tie down points as all sorts of things can go wrong.

As Banshee posted, if you don't change the rear bar, at least buy a Hayman Reese style tow hitch and use a recovery hitch as pictured or you can hold a snatch strap with the tow hitch pin inside the hitch.

If you aren't going to change anything then at least buy yourself some Maxtrax and a shovel as they will go a long way to getting you unbogged.
