Well, today I got my notice, again, to book it in to get the work done.
Already done & just have to wait another 2 weeks after they received the parts. Glad it's not an urgent safety issue or anything like that.

New airbag installed, replacing the Claymore.
Also, they verified a short in the clockspring, now they just have to get FCA to cough up to replace it again since it was dodgy when installed. The guy doing all the paperwork side said he'd been told that if it was broken from the start, they would have noticed when it was done.
I pointed out that it was. When I picked it up I was told I'd need a new steering wheel assembly as the horn wasn't working, (but it was ok when I check it on the way out, going around a corner), and the switches in the wheel were all ok, when I checked them. But, that I later found it to not work when straight. Press horn, turn wheel, works. (Demonstrated that when I dropped it off.) He said "Great! I can use that to take it back to them."
Now I just have to wait to hear back... Not holding my breath, though.

I reckon i got 7 letters telling me how dangerous my airbag and clockspring recalls were and i should contact them immediately to rectify the issue!!!! Only took 7 months of me ringing them for them to have the parts to do the job all at once, fucking useless!!! FCA are a joke and will eventually go broke due to terrible aftersales service.

Yes, they are useless in as far as sending out letters to get it done when the parts "took longer than expected to arrive", but FCA don't make the airbags, so they are hostage to the supplier & manufacturer. If they don't send the parts, FCA can't fit them...

Will have a party once it's done!

FCA have nothing to do with it. It's a world wide recall affecting millions of cars. It can't happen overnight as they like every other manufacturer has to wait for a replacement.

So, I have a brand new airbag in my passenger side, no more grenade!!
And when I dropped it off and picked it up, I saw at least another 10 JK owners getting their's done too.
Finally!
