I would love to go...love driving Wilblinga, but will have to check if the boss hasnt pre-booked us.

Just point, although Im sure you are aware, this area doesnt lend well to long convoys, the climbs and single twisty tracks (with no oncoming passing) will make a convoy spread out for km and other vehicles will be trapped for ages before they can pass or overtake. This would seriously annoy everyone!!!!!!

You may want to set a safety/organisational limit on numbers!

I loved the social aspect of the Lanno trip Wes arranged, but if you got his numbers turn up it would be a disaster at Wilblinga!!

Cheers Matt.

Yes we did get out last weekend on a JOCWA trip. I was not the leader of that trip. We did get out to the Collie Wellington Dam area and Lennards Track. Some of the tracks were a bit narrow.

This Saturdays trip in Wilbinga will be a nice change from my Harvey and Powerline trips I have done since mid Dec.

Default Wilbinga, WA

Meeting a couple hundreds meters past the corner of WILBINGA ROAD and WANNEROO ROAD (http://www.nearmap.com/?q=Meeting%20...h&nmd=20120117) about 50 meters past MILITARY ROAD (turn off to the GRAVITY DISCOVERY CENTRE).

Trip is departing at 9:30AM sharp. So be there for 9:00AM.

I will be there earlier with my sand flag up for people who are not sure where to meet.

Just so you know guys, WILBINGA RD turnoff has been barricaded by the council due to the near misses (accidents). There is another left had turn 300m up the road that meets up with WILBINGA RD. I suggest you guys use the road that's there for a purpose considering how many vehicles are meeting up.

It's for your own safety.

P.S. Wish I could join you guys but will be too busy swimming in the pool with the kids.

EDIT: Here is the road I'm talking about, you can see a LHS turnoff a couple hundred meters up the road.
