Try David at Wooders Garage. I imported my front DTT, but at same time, my rear trak-loc died. Dave got me a rear DTT in two days cheaper than I could buy from the US. He's very good to deal with.
Is it a front or rear you are chasing? Just make sure you get the right diff centre for your driving needs. I went with The DTTbecause is a great LSD come auto locker, excellent for dirt road touring, beachwork ( really appreciate it in soft sand) and most off road applications. Which is what I needed my kj to do, But always on as an LSD, and can lock up in tight turns. Doing lots of 4x4 tracks and getting through challenging obstacles was not my primary concern, driving effortlessly through soft sand, dirt roads, ect was,so my choice was dtt's front and rear.
An air-locker is always an open diff, so good for streets and then locked, it will get you through a tuff off road obstacle situation on a trail. So a great choice for someone who's needs are Street driving, and then Offroad challenge recreational driving.
Just saying, build your vehicle to do what you want it to do. Just remember you mentioning that your kj is a shopping cart during the week and then you want to do recreational 4x4ing on the weekend.
I'm not saying that the dtt's aren't going to get you where you want to go, they get me where I want to go, just being the devils advocate here, asking what exactly you want from your kj.
Also, Aussie dollar is low at the moment, so best value may not be os suppliers currently.. JeepinByAl has both the Detroit truetrac and the Eaton truetracs. The DTT is more than 800 USD, the Eaton is much cheaper, you would have to ask guys on the LOST forum for their thoughts on which is better / value /reliable.
Ps. I also took the opportunity, due to labour costs (seeing that the diff would be out and apart anyway) to install 4.10 gears as well for the larger tyres.
Pps. Remember, as well as the diff centres, you have to get an install kit (ie:- new bearings and seals, and check what crown bolts are required as even if you are re-installing the original gear ratios the bolts will have to be new,and they may be a different tread in the new diff centre to the oem type.
