Murchisons suspension kits are way overpriced. Look whats in the kit, then buy the bits from SBR off-road.

That's actually the best way to do it. SBR have always been cheaper than any other of the major Australian suppliers.

Agree with above - an Engineer cert will add a lot of cost and possible problems you never saw coming, so if you're not going for broke, then is a reasonable call to keep it legal.

Some good shock and good coils and a Saturday with friend or two and some pizza and beer will get it done. Look at pictures for a tire you like - but be aware of track width restrictions or there is more engineering.

Pays to do research and ask questions, but you have to decide if you're going to need that cert first, as it is a game changer in terms of cost and what you can do.

Not necessarily, I believe both DBOR and JeepKonnection charge around $600 to engineer a number of lifts (i've had mine done).

Yes they do. AEV kits you can install yourself and have it engineered for $650 via JeepKonnection.

What's the real world difference off-road between 2" lift and say 2.5" and 3.5" lift?

Last time I was off road with no lift scraped the fuel tank plate, so not too sure 2" will be enough?

I'll be going with 34" (305/70R17) tires to keep it legal.

SBR are by far the best place I’ve ever bought my jeeps parts from. Great to deal with, fast shipping.
