I've tried Back to Black and Meguiars Ultimate Black. I reckon both last about 3 weeks. I've got a bottle of Auto-Glym I'm going to try this week. The Meguiars stuff I bought came in little precut, impregnated sponges - it did make it a hell of a lot easier to apply.

Bottom line is that no product is going to last forever - you just want to get the best value for money and something that isn't going to damage another part of your Jeep.

I've used 303 Protectant on exterior plastic trim, does a nice job, but it does fade after a few weeks.
I used Meguiers Plastic Trim restorer on the grey plastic steps of the JK.....still looks good 10 months later.

I use a bit of a different product called Refinish Restorer. Not available through the chain stores I had to order it in through Car Systems.

Basically I had to order a whole box of 6 cans to get them to bring it into the country but once it got here they grabbed 4 of the cans for themselves. Brings the plastics up like new for at least a year parked every day in the direct sun and weather. Actually I just looked and I last did it back in Jun 2012. It does need doing again but I'm more than happy with those results.
Before

After

The product

Default Mothers Back to Black Review (Trim Restorer)

Essentially I needed to arrange an entire box of 6 jars to motivate them to bring it into the nation however once it arrived they snatched 4 of the jars for themselves.
