It was bad enough when I realised that there was no way the bolt for the top arm would come out without disconnecting the exhaust, (just so I could pull it down enough to clear). BUT, when the captive nut broke free!

And by the time I was finishing & retorqueing, 125'lbs!? I really ache in places today! Could barely keep my arms up to get the exhaust nuts back on after that, and holding the tolls as well... Well it was touch & go for a bit!

Back when I installed my AEV kit, the instructions said to source another bolt and cut the trucker off. Then reinstall the new bolt from the outside. Much, much, much easier and simpler.

Just one of those issues that arise from fitting the suspension before the engine on the production line.

Did you pull the inner flare? I was doing it with the rest still there. I thought about pulling it as well, but that would probably have taken just as long, since I had already figured out what I needed to do & had the tool to do it. :/

Loosened off the front & rear bolts on the front LCAs & the rear bolts on the UCAs. Bounced on each side & in the middle of the front. Tightened all the bolts up. My arms hate me!

Will see how it drives tomorrow. If it is still off centre, I will adjust the drag link.
