Default custom headers 5.7 hemi

Has anyone there changed the stock log type headers with custom headers?
Being RH steering creates interference with the headers from the US.

I've never managed to find any details about anyone running them as they all tend to fall into the too hard basket. I was looking at using a SRT8 setup as there are a few in the US that have used them, while still a log setup the runners are larger and somewhat more conclusive to flow.

but even using srt ones, one will need to factor in grinding out an EGR slot into the manifold for exhaust gas and new midpipes. Theyre also bloody hard to find cause you can only use the Jeep SRT headers

Shame we cant use the diablo tuner on export models and turn the egr system off.

Slippery, I had the EGR turned off by using HP Tuners. Also deleted the set of rear O2 sensors after removing the cats. Also lowered the fan activation temp to 95C

How do you find the HP tuners? I've found my Superchips pretty good for most things but it I was to go down the stroker path I'd need something a little more powerful but alas just a pipe dream at the moment, if I find some SRT8 headers anywhere I'll post it up here.

There is a tuner chap close to me that is very clued up. He has the workshop and tools and works magic. The HP Tuners equipment is very useful and is able to make many ECU changes, but not on all parameters.

Using a die grinder to make the EGR slot and drilling an extra hole in the flange is easy work. Also need to modify the dipstick tube mount or bolt.
