Hey mate, do you know of someone with a WJ CRD in Melbourne, who you could persuade that they need a free snorkel??

Best bet to try an email to one of the committee at MJOC I would think. Try BDASH (pres) or TASAR (probably the most active club member I would think).

I'm pretty sure one of the members, Bomber, tried to get this arranged a little while ago.

Thinking of the WJ's in the club I'm pretty sure most at petrol like mine. Pity, cause I'm hanging out to get one too.

They need the car 3-4 times over an 8-12 week period. They've had guards and inners and .... all sorts of stuff... off mine already. No way a loan car from a dealer is a viable option, even if such a beast actually existed. Final stage is to cut holes and drill bits and well, you get the picture why they need a donor car.

C'mon you guys. It's two years since my WG got sold and stopped being the test vehicle. Stop the bleating and get your car in there for Michael to cut wide open, I guarantee you won't regret it.

It will also improve air supply and therefore power and economy. Michael is quoting 15-20% more power and 10-15% improved fuel economy as the target. Car bra won't do that....
