agreed and i've seen that style on a WJ before, made by someone in Europe somewhere i think but also prohibitively expensive from memory

Just remember too guys that there are a few different manufactuers out there for snorkels around the globe - you could always do some searching around and find a "Hat" that pleases you aesthetically
The intake tubes are often 2", 2.5", 3", 3.5" and so on.

I agree about the Diesel one, but please don't shoot the messenger, I'm just the Jeeper who donated the use of his WJ for the Petrol Snorkel from Safari. Both Stephen and I have been working on both Safari and Airflow for a few years now, his is at Airflow and mine was at Safari.

...but the comment about the other guys (Airflow) I beleive is correct, they are doing a snorkel for the CRD, but for that you'll need to get some infor from Stephen or (whoeover has donated thir Jeep for that).

FYI, I'll see if I can get an official word out of Safari on the Diesel snorkel.

Default WH snorkel

My Wh diesel is the donor car for the Airflow snorkel,Michael rang me last Friday and basically repeated whats already been posted.
He sounds just as frustrated as we are,he hopes to be able to fit the snorkel in about a fortnight.
We live in hope.
Cheers,Dick

I asked for it a got the following as the official word from Safari on the snorkel for the Diesel WJ/WG is:
Very unlikely, sorry.

While the OZ Jeep market does not justify the non recurring expense for either, obviously the petrol variant is off set by the US market demand.

With no such requirement from the Yanks for the diesel, the business model just cannot stand up, sorry,
...so it seems that those WJ/WG Grand CRD owners who want a snorkel will have to go with the Airflow option when it's available.

(again, plase don't shoot the messenger )
