Thinking about this one myself, how much distance do you gain between 3 and 6?
The 3db aerial doesn't have the distance like the 6db one (probably only a couple of km's), but its a lot better when in the scrub due to the way it projects the signal.
I only use the 6db one when on the highway when I'm after distance.

I got the same tub from SBR Off Road. Fitted the battery yesterday. Instead of an Isolator, I used Traxide Tronic's SC80 system.
Sorry to drag up an old post.. looking to get this done myself. I assume that's the Uneek Battery tub.. how did you relocate your exhaust to allow it to fit? Got any pictures?
That was really long ago and the JK is long gone and replaced with a JL Cherokee Trailhawk.
To answer your question SBR Offroad also fitted a stainless steel exhaust to make room for the tub. I can't remember all the details exactly but a call to SBR will give you the answers you need. They're very helpful.
