Default Potential Group Buy- CRD Turbo Pipes

Hey all

Have been contacting Samco Sport in the UK (who produced the KJ Hoses for their Group Buy) re the 2.8 Wrangler TD. Response was as follows:

"Hello Steven,

Thank you for your email regarding the Jeep hoses, we have two kits
available for the Cherokee and the Liberty which have be instigated through
the Jeep owners club here in the UK. Unfortunately we have nothing for the
Wrangler although the hoses may be the same.

The guys here have had exactly the same problems that you describe in both
the 2.8 Ltr and 2.5 Ltr diesel turbo engines.

Please see the attached O/E part numbers for the hoses that we currently
supply for the Liberty and Cherokee models, if these don't match then we
would possibly look into tooling up for the Wrangler specifically.

Best regards,

Mark Hale."

Needless to say, the OE Part Numbers do not match.

So, the big question is (and this is without knowing what the prices are) who would be interested in a Group Buy on Turbo Hoses for the JK?

If there's sufficient interest, will go back to Mark and ask if it's possible.

Regards

Steve

Obviously depending on price, I would be interested in having one of these as a backup if the current hose breaks.

Is it just the one side of the turbo that is usually affected or are both hoses at risk?
