Hamlin Bay - Easter 08

We went down to Hamlin Bay this Easter with friends for some camping, 4WDing and surfing on the beautiful beaches down there.

Thought I'd share a couple of snaps - it was a beautiful day and the contrast between the pure shite sand, blue water and grey skies was amazing.

Was anyone else down that way Easter? It was my first trip down there and I loved it. We had a great little private camping spot which was above the main area so much more private.

The weather was great, the beaches beautiful and the rain stayed away for the most part.

Yeh I noticed the very small minority of idiots who we're carving up the beach while we surfed. I actually almost got knocked over by a Trol shooting past me on the beach.

Hope it doesnt close though its beautiful down there!
