Default *** SOLD *** Rear disc brake conversion 4 sale

ITEM: Ford EA complete rear disc brake conversion
TO SUIT: TJ Wranglers or XJ Cherokee
CONDITION: Used but in excellent condition
REASON FOR SELLING: Was asked to design a later model kit so had to take off this perfectly working one to test fit it!
PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS: On eBay starting at $385 http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI....ME:L:LCA:AU:11
LOCATION: Eastern Melbounre but will post anywhere.

They will improve you braking over the standard drums. Excellent after creek crossings and no more adjusting all the time. Stays free of mud and also has the safety of retaining the axle should it break at the diff end on Cherokee's. Much better hand brake as well.
This is a complete conversion that requires no modification to the axles at all. It is fully bolt on without any need for additional welding or drilling. It will suit both the D35 and 8.25 axles on the XJ Cherokee or the D44 fitted to TJ Wranglers with additional seal spacer rings ( can be supplied ). The kit includes recently professionally re-built Ford Falcon EA calipers along with support brackets. Two custom made ADR approved braided stainless steel hard line to caliper hoses. A special longer frame to axle ADR approved braided stainless steel hose to suit the metric axle hardware and the imperial Jeep frame fitting. The braided lines also improve stopping preformance. Also full replacement axle hard lines included. Spacers are provided to correctly align the caliper over the rotors. The rotors are slotted for extra performance and to reduce brake fade. The centre hole has also been enlarged on a CNC mill to fit the Jeep axle centre spigot. Hand brake cables are supplied to suit 94-97 XJ's and can be shortened to suit Wranglers. Instructions are given on how to modify EA Falcon ones to suit later model XJ's and both can be made and supplied at extra cost if wanted instead. Brand new longer axle retaining bolts provided as well.
Link to full fitting instructions provided.

Easy, the brackets that hold the caliper bolt to your axle housing flange using the same bolt holes that keep your drum backing plates on. Even the suuport for the hard to soft lines is part of the dust cover and the bracket to support the end on the handbrake cable is part of the caliper.

See it better here.

This shows how the caliper bracket bolts on in place of the drum backing plate.

Here you can see how even the handbrake cable bracket is part of the caliper.
