Might not be the weekend but hell I'm retired, " Every days a Sunday ".

It's troubled me these last couple of weeks that everything is open to all sorts of road crap underneath, today the man in the big white truck delivered some nice stainless steel bash plates from Custom OffRoad, most of the tender bits down under are now nicely covered ............ Very easy to fit but I did miss my walk under ramps which would have saved me crawling around like a lizard.

Quick delivery, well packaged and a brilliant price .......... not paying a name tax for some chinky stuff or a dodgy apprentice to fit and strip bolts.

https://www.customoffroad.com.au/pro...-transmission/

and I will promote good, well priced products, no need to bribe.

Here is the boot loaded for a trip with the new Battery Box and Compressor setup in place;

From left to right:

Waeco CFX40 with the battery between it and the back seat

Daypack with emergency gear in it, three solar panels and a log splitter

Large box with stuff in it plus the levelling ramps and wedges and the compressor and tank between it and the back seat.

Everything is tied down to an 18 mm ply floor using tiedowns bolted through the ply using T-nuts. It is very quick and easy to put in and take out. The ply is held down by a ratchet strap attached to a bolt replacing the tire bolt with a loop welded on.

Cheers

Might be another of your mods I will pinch I think ............... Is that a proper sized tyre/wheel you have ?? Mine has a steel wheel with a 245 18" instead of the 265 18" also ( its brain picking time again) how do you find the Duellers on the road ?? Have had them before on another vehicle, quite good until half way then very noisy.

While thats a great idea to hold your ply down i'd be temped to split some hose and place on that bolt to remove the chance of the strap rubbing through .
