2019 Grand Cherokee Changes

Hi all,

I am looking at updating my 2014 Grand and have heard that there may be a engine upgrade and also a 9 speed auto in the 2019 model.

Has anyone else heard anything?

its on its 3rd face lift 2020 will be the redesign. Historicly they have done a redesign every 5 years the grand Cherokee line so they are overdue.

hopefully they stay with a v6 diesel with at least 1 turbo and larger then 2.8lt. I expect the box to have atleast 8 gears there existing 9spd is a dud

Reading through the specs, I don't see the Quadra lift air suspension mentioned, I wonder if they have dropped it.

It's listed in the Offroad Adventure pack:

QUADRA-LIFT (TM) AIR SUSPENSION (SER)

It looks like there is a delay on the diesel in the 2019, not sure why. There's been chatter on the facebook page that the 2019 won't be sold here with a diesel, but not sure how accurate that is.
