Default WK2 CRD mechanic recommendation Adelaide

G'day all

Any recommendations for an honest, reliable and resonably priced mechanic in Adelaide for my 2012 WK2 CRD?

Would prefer to supply my own oils and filters if possible

Thanks!

Have seen a few people looking at my post but no replies or recommendations?

Was hoping there might be a few SA owners around that could help

cheers

I have done all the services myself to date. I’m not prepared to pay the ridiculous dealer prices for something I can do myself.

I don’t know about any independent mechanics or workshop specialising in Jeeps in Adelaide, but would also love to know and be able to take the Jeep there for some of the services.

You could try

BJ Engineers at 49 Wodonga Street
Beverley SA 5009

or Pro 4x4 at Queenstown .

I went to BJ's to identify a couple of minor issues which they did instead of going to a dealer . Saved some money doing that I reckon . I just get our local mechanic to do the services as we live in country SA .

Read in a post here somewhere about Stepney Auto repairs, Nelson St Stepney.
My 2012 JGC is up for 120000 so I'll go and talk to them to get an idea if they know about Jeeps. I'll put up a post.

Also about BJ Engineers - Google them, they look alright.

I take my 2014 diesel Overland to Endeavor Motor engineers in Port Adelaide behind the old wool stores. I supply my own oil and filter,he is really old school but has the tech devices to access the computer on the vehicles as well.
Hans is his name, workshop is old but service is very good and cheap in today's market.

A guy I work with swears by Hi Tech Diesel at 418 Churchill Rd, Kilburn. He's got a Ranger but they work on all sorts of diesels.
