Default Negative camber on a Jeep WJ 2.7 front wheels

I have negative camber on my Jeep GC WJ. It's the 2.7 CRD Quadra-Drive version.

There is no way of adjusting the camber on the Jeep WJ, I have read that there is a possibility of fitting adjustible ball joints.

As I have done quite a bit of offroad driving and couple of jumps I suspect the axle is bent and I would need to replace the whole axle? What would be the best way to proceed with this, used axle and reinforce it? Or just use adjustible ball joints.

Also I have horrible wobble when under load, when I release the gas pedal there is no wobble. Perhaps this can be caused by the bent axle or could be related with the cardan shaft?

Don't waste your time with the adjustable ball joints, you may be able to get your housing straightened or get a new housing, I would also sugest getting sleaves and a gusset to prevent this from happening again.

Is it the camera lens or is that the biggest amount of negative camber on a WJ/G I've seen.

Can you measure it and put up the numbers for us?

Thanks. I have found a junkyard front Axle off an Jeep GC Overland.
How could I check if the axle is Quadra-Drive or not? Only by opening the diff cover and looking if it has a Vari-Lok inside? Is there any other way...as well as how could I check the gear ratios?

I know the Overlands have a NV-247 transfer case, which I do as well..so ideally it should be quadra-drive.

Perhaps I could buy this axle and put a sleeve inside to make it a tad stronger, didn't find any gussets for the WJ

I'm not near the truck at the moment, but it's quite bad

there should be a little tag under one of the bolts on the diff cover that will tell you the gear ratio. There are only 2 ratios so you need a diff out of a diesel or you will have to get your centre swapped over.

transfer case has no bearing on diff centres as all models had the 247 but as far as i recall most if not all overlands had quadra drive

good idea but it's also not hard to make gussets or a brace. If you are nto confident any decent 4wd fab shop should be able to brace your diff. Iro also sell a "c" gusset kit.

I have purchased a junkyard Dana 30 (quadra-drive) empty body.
Once I get free time I will take my axel off and start putting stuff over.

Looks like ironrockoffrad are the only ones who offer an inner axle sleeve kit for the Jeep WJ Dana 30 ?
