Default New Driving Lights

On ANZAC Day took a trip out to Oberon (central west of Sydney) for some flyfishing (that's another story). Coming back late I finally realised how poor the lights on high beam were on the GC Ltd WG. So off I went looking for some driving lights. After a few days research I settled on a pair on "Roo Lights" at a reasonable price.
Apparently they are a lightforce clone but made in Taiwan and much cheaper. They even have a feature to spread/narrow the beam by twisting the lens.
I was very impressed with the product especially the included wiring loom. It was all ready with proper water-proof connections (at the lights) plus easy snap connectors and good insulation. Easy to install but time consuming as I route and cable tie it all, to make it look as hidden as possible.
Installed but yet to test out of the burbs.
I'd like to hear from others who have gone and installed lights on a WG.

Wink

Upgraded the actual headlights both dim and highbeams as well as the wiring harness...MUCH BETTER!!!!!!!

Am also running a set of Bosch (gotta keep the German thing I guess) driving lights both with spreadbeams. The upgraded headlights on high have amazing range so I like to see the road shoulders on BOTH sides.

I've also upgraded the wiring harness and are running direct from the battery to the lights with upgraded inserts (80 low and 130w highs). I am also running 130w IPF spotties which work great. Can't say that I have noticed any issues with temps but I have had the spotties on since new.

went to Oberon dam because the rivers were - well...not there. Saw plenty of fish rising to the surface but not even one strike. The dam was really low. Lasrt time we went was June last year. It was bloody freezing it actually snowed all the way home past Katoomba. A long trip from Sydney to come home with nothing, but good fun with my mate and brother. It was they that said you need better lighting. They were right!
