aerial snapped off

Snapped off the aerial and was wondering how to replace it.
The electric motor is ok but can't see how to get to it to replace
the aerial/plastic runner
Any advice ??

nick it off and put on a rubber one, mine has died doesn't go all the way in evidently they all cark it.

From memory the only way to the aerial is by removing the guard.
They commonly cark it - but mostly where people give it a helping hand etc that damages them.
it's a one peice unit to replace. but not that expensive.

yeh mine goes down till its level with the bonnet. then like 20mins later ill hear it go the rest of the way down. i have to keep cleaning mine cos it jams up.
