How'd you seperate the column? I usually pull the fascia out around it but don't want to this time.

when you say "separate the column', if you mean split the 2 piece plastic surround, it something like a T15 Torx (2) from the bottom

You need long allen key or screwdriver style, as a regular 1/4" bit will not fit up the holes

(I advise if you purchase such a set, make it be "security" Torx, as they are needed to remove the "multifunction switch" if ever needed, probably other things too, like ignition switch)

I was planning on changing my dash lights over to amber / orange, much like you'd find in a BMW (there's a reason they chose that colour, night driving is a dream with an amber cluster). From what I've read, for a 95 XJ it's T10 / 194 LED's? Do we know how many are needed in total? I recall I bought a white LED conversion kit for my XJ's cluster about... 10 years ago, lol. No idea what was in it, or where it even is any more, never did install it!
