Default Bought a Camper Trailer Finally

Well we finally bought the camper trailer after many months of looking at what suited us, where we would be going and the level of 4x4ing it would be exposed too and we settled on the Market Direct Offroad Deluxe version with the bigger tent for just over $5K. Some may say there are better trailer/tent combos out there but bang for your buck and the bits we wanted it fitted our requirements perfectly.

We pick it up next week and cant wait. Anyone else have one of these and how has it held up to date? Most offroad it will get from us is 4x4 parks and Big 4 caravan parks and of course Camp Coffs.

Bought the gal version last November. Can't complain, and agree with you re bang for buck. Only been away twice due to poor weather we've had lately and look forward to the next trip. Make sure the box on the front locks properly as my lids were able to be opened even though they were locked and all tyres are the same tread pattern before you leave when picking it up. I removed the stone guard soon after delivery as I barked my knuckles winding up/down the jockey wheel. Have to modify that.

I have the same unit.... Been away once so far and it pi$$ed down the whole weekend. Got a couple of leaks but it should settle down after a couple of wet and dry sessions.

I found the external bottle holders were rubbish and I'm the process of cutting them off and replacing them with something more substantial.

The tent itself is HUGE!!

Is it independent suspension or beam? Guess problem is you cant lift it for bigger rubber to improve exit angle as the tent wont hit the deck then. Got value for money though.

I had this problem after fitting larger tyres to my camper so i had to pay a local canvas repairer to extend the wall height of my camper by 100mm or so. Worked out great.

Cheers
