Trans rebuild is underway, housing stripped:


Rear sprag was starting to tear its way out of the housing, which is a known weak point in an otherwise bulletproof auto.

Bolt in sprag going in:


A shift kit is also going in along with some mods to valve body to firm shifts up. Converter is also having a going over, when done she'll be all good.

With $$ as it is, have some bits on order from US. Maybe some shiny alloy bits.

Never happened in the end, brought a TJ (I said I'd never do that) and the old girl was parted around Dec/Jan with the body and chassis now turned into tin cans.

Get the bolt on shackle flip kit and SOA kit from BJ's for about $400 plus shipping.

Just looking through some pics, Damn I miss this thing, the TJ is soul-less.
I will do another one day. It will probably cause a divorce though. (LOL)
