Default Toe in - what's your preference ? (otherwise known as "least replied to thread ever")

OK, anyone got any blind preference or informed advice regarding Wrangler front end alignment ?

I note the manual recommends the following (in degrees)
Caster: 7 +/- 1
Camber -0.25 +/- 0.63
Toe-in (each wheel) 0.3 +/- 0.15

I work this toe-in out to be in the range of 2mm to 6mm (each wheel)
[actually if you can correct me here it will save a lot of grief]
Which is say 1/12" to 1/4" for you old-schoolers, or 1/6" optimum.

I've had a few people recommend near zero toe-in, and the local tyre place sets at 1.5mm or 1/16".

What do people find works best ? What are the pros and cons ? Does it even matter ?

Sure last time had mine aligned he set it to Zero...no shimmy or wobbles and even wear across the tire..But having said that...I'm running long arms
maybe try a poll
Cheers

When I put my OME lift and bigger tyres on, I was constantly getting the much feared (for good reason) death wobble. Had this for around 10,000kms with several wheel alignments in this period. It was only when Mark (from Suburban) suggested 0 toe in that the car started to drive normally. Have always had it aligned with 0 toe in ever since and no problems.
