The rebuilding is of the air spring part I believe. The air spring can be removed from the shock, which leads me to think another shock can be refitted. Its going to depend on shock thickness, length, etc and once I can establish what will fit, I will source a rebuild-able shock to replace the factory one. I am in contact with a local company who can provide custom valving. I need to pull the vehicle off the road for a few weeks (which is not possible at the moment) or get a second hand QL front strut to start to make it happen.
