had an interesting day, steering box sprung a leak the other week, pulled it out today and started pulling it apart, had to knock the shaft bearing out to get the oil seal out and then destroyed the bearing trying to get it back in...sigh. Anyone ever replaced one before and can recommend a supplier ? If not i think ill take it to the bearing shop on monday.
Apart form that, fitted a new steering dampener and new drums
Edit - Great rebuild page if anyone is needs to do it in the near future

Didn't replace all of the seals, just the leaking ones around the pitman arm.

How loose was the P arm in the housing? Unless the arm is a snug fit it will soon leak again.

there was no play as far as i could tell, i was picking the box up by the pitman arm and i didnt notice any play. The bottom of the P shaft was filled with mud and grass (no idea how that got there) which i think is what lead to the leak.
Im planning on replacing 10.595 down in this image

im a little hesitant to pull the rest of it apart.
