Default BA Falcon brake conversion

Just whipped up a conversion for my camper trailer to Falcon BA rear discs.

Here is the write up in case any one was interested.

Neat! Much easier to replace pads, than shoes.

Used the setup over Easter and very happy with the results. Hand brake was a good by product too as didn't think I would have a use for it much. But locked it on while camped on a slight slope and also great when pulling it up the driveway with a bit of a run when by yourself. In the past had to have someone else with me to quickly chock the wheels before it would start to rol back down. Also can control the roll back down into the garage as well.

I used to run Falcon discs on my camper trailer, they were off an Ea so smaller rotors but then I changed over to electric drums, whoa what a difference, I would never go back to over-ride discs after this set up.
Seeing that I already had the over-ride coupling and hand brake lever already set up I just used all of that with the drums so I now have electric drums with a handbrake and an over-ride back up for just in case.

What I would really love is electric disc brakes.....

EA ones are a bad choice to start with and needed constant maintenance when I used them on the back of the XJ. I used the electrics on the camper trailer for 10 years and could never perfect them. Maybe because I run a light camper and there are better controllers on the market now too. But just got back from another trip with the BA setup and had some emergency braking to do and pulled up perfectly and never would know the camper was on the back.
