Before reassembling the HVAC housing there were a couple of issues I wanted to address.
1. That damn loud noise when the fan is on max
2. Annoying stream of cold air directed straight at my foot regardless of the chosen air stream outlet
So I've thrown these in the bin ...
Those white diffusers sit inside the top half of the HVAC housing.
Now it's quiet and the air still comes out. Bonus
Removing the foot vents just means the air isn't directed straight at my left ankle.
Rather is wafts out from behind the centre console.
If you're ever looking for the HVAC drain it is located in the oval opening in the floor pan.
It's practically next to your left foot.
There are no rubber drain hoses, it simply drips onto the top of the transmission.
