I just had mine replaced yesterday. My upper rear shock mounts were stuffed (knocking) so I had those replaced at the same time.
If you have the load levelling shocks in the rear and you want to change out for standard style shocks then you will need to change the upper mounts and also the springs.
I did the Bilstein 5100's with lifted King springs and my WK2 is now 65mm higher than it was before the lift.
Not sure if this will settle and drop a little over the next few weeks but it looks awesome.
I believe the Old Man Emu kit comes with rear shock bushes but doesn't replace the mounts themselves.
My receipt also has 2x Universal bump stops listed. I am not sure where they were installed but I believe these are required to stop the shocks from bottoming out? I will climb under later and see if I can find them and take a photo.
You'll also need to get a 4 wheel alignment done after lifting.

Do you know if the replacement rear shock mounts include rubber inserts?

Also, do you have or can you get pics of the universal bump stops?

I had a look under but I couldn't find the bump stops. Not sure where they're fitted. Sorry!

I've had the lift installed for just over a month now and it has definitely settled from the original 65mm to being 50mm lift on front and 40mm on rear. Not sure if front will settle further with time but I hope not as I love the way it looks being level (not raking like stock). It is still raking about 10mm lower at front but the guard gap matches better now.

I am, however, not happy with the comfort of the Bilstein shocks. They're too firm for me and I wish I had used something else.

I’ve heard that Peddars shocks are comfortable. Any one using these?

New Upper shock mounts are a must fit with new rear shocks on the WK 2s.Same for both quadralift and std suspension.Self leveling shocks on rear have larger size shafts. RockAuto has a lot of info on their site.It appears from numerous threads that spring manufactures selling lift kits go for much heavier spring rates and their shocks are lacking enough rebound control.Especially in the front.
