If it's a Mopar part try Paul Kwiatkowski at Peter Stockill Ltd in the UK. His direct phone is +44 1482 330468, or email chris@stockill.com (they haven't changed email addresses since he took over as Parts Manager). He supplied my clutch for A$235 (plus A$220 air freight!) and it arrived within 2 weeks: this compared with Jeep Australia wanting A$730 and saying they could get it in 4 weeks.

Default Magnaflow Exhaust

Cheapest price for Magnaflow Exhaust I could find:

https://www.magnaflowdirect.com/default.asp

Ask for email quote and it's cheaper again!!

Catch is; that the shipping price may cost as much as the exhaust itself.

Pig, try these guys:

http://www.bestmufflers.com/bshop/in...00b3df78f9b5a8

They have an online shop and ship anywhere in Australia. They are located in Carlton (Sydney). I bought my Magnaflow from them and their design assistance was first class.

I'm pretty sure this is the one I bought:

http://www.bestmufflers.com/bshop/pr...00b3df78f9b5a8

They can also send you a short length of 2 1/2" pipe (as this muffler is much shorter than the stock one and you'll need abit of pipe to reach the exhaust end. Macke sure you ask then to bell one end so it slips over the 2 1/2" exhaust pipe end. You can cut the old muffler out and reuse the exhaust end (as its already bent for the axle detour). OK just noitced your a Petrol engine, maybe ring them and have a chat about what you need.

Hi, I got a tensioner pulley from Morris4x4 in the US, delivered for less than half the price from Jeep Aus. They have all jeep parts, even if they're not on the web site.

For people looking for KJ CRD parts, particularly the very expensive (locally) things like the Flow Control Valve (aka the Intake Throttle) or the EGR valve, you can buy these online from:
http://www.moparonlineparts.com/PART...&siteid=214954

Just plug in your part number. For the Flow COntrol Valve the part number is 5142799AA. That part through CHrysler Jeep AUstralia is $2000AUD and is special order. Through these guys it is $265USD (less than $300 AUD). They do ship to Australia via USPS but charge a slight fee for international credit card transactions.

We can stop being ripped off by Chyrsler Jeep Australia simply by shopping around.

After some research have picked up some Valvoline Zerex G-05 coolant for my 2002 3.7 petrol KJ. It's a 5 lt concentrate, 5 year HOAT and meets MS9769 spec. $49.95 compared to the $84 I was quoted for the mopar stuff (and only 1 gal).
