Default Body Rust Question

Just a question on what if any rust protection people are using especially
those that venture onto the beach.
I have recently bought a WK2 (I know it's the wrong model) and I know it
has been on Fraser Island with previous owner, it looks very clean underneath
so I was wondering if there is anything I should do to it or look for.

Plenty of fresh water when you get home, I park mine over the sprinklers in the lawn for a bit, and lift it, it stops the underbelly scrapping the sand, when I had a non lifted kj the sand would fly up into the fan and fill the engine bay. Lifted and no probs.
New cars don't rust very often, they are painted way better than the old Falcons and 4runners that all rusted away!!

Owned Nilrust Aust for 30 years.Sold seven years ago.If you go on the beach often get a full underbody, chassis rail, etc chemical treatment done.I told 4x4 owners you can go on the beach about 3 times before corrosion starts to show up,in places you can and can not see.Caloundra Auto Protector has been rustproofing 4x4s for around 20 years using Nilrust products.Give Laurie a call ,and ask a few questions.
