Check out my Ride(s)

So your 09 may have the Siemens ones (with alloy stems?), while my MY11 (Oct10 build) Limited has the Schrader units, with rubber stems.

The Schrader catalogue above appears to indicate the change was in 2010->
Also appears to say the units you have are interchangable with the units I have?
Both 56029359 and 56029481 cross ref to Schrader #65722-67

Do you have the 'EVIC' display in the bottom of the speedo that shows the pressure of each tyre on each corner, individually?
Good to know 230,000kms and they are still working. Apparently they go to sleep when not in motion to save battery, so with only 120,000kms on mine, they should last a while yet. I know from my electronic engineering days, radio transmission takes power, much more than the monitoring circuitry. So less kms means less transmitting, means longer battery life.

Hi Wiz,

Yes the 09 has it all inbuilt into evic display with 4 individual readouts.

I would not think they transmit constantly even in motion. I would expect a pressure update every few minutes or so, not at 10hz etc.Thry are only transmitting 500mm or so but understand it will draw a bit regardless. They must be magic
