But there’s nothing left to do!!!

Well... except for a snorkel. Hope the inspection comes through with flying colours. Did I mention being super jealous?

Default Buying a KK

And of course, 1 week after buying the silver, a white one with a long range tank, roof track, and 2012 model with less than 80,000kms comes up for sale.

Oh well, I like my silver one and I have dealer warranty, and $6k in my pocket compared to this one.

Yup, its in the spare wheel well, its rectangular/square, and you fill it from another neck that has been cut and welded into the main filler neck. No idea what brand, havent gotten that far under the rear yet, but I will soon. It's leaking diesel from the electric transfer pump connections I'll have to fix before I get my rego inspection done next week. I intend to put a quick disconnect in after the pump so I can connect a hose and fill jerry cans or even fill another vehicle from my long range tank.

I'll see if I can tell the brand after I get under it tomorrow.

Personally I prefer white and still would have chosen your Jeep over this other one. I suspect this has the less desirable Dobson dealer supplied lift rather than the JBA/Murchison combo on yours. It does have a nice Frontrunner roof rack though the cost of versatile racks has dropped a bit of late, whereas a custom tyre carrier is rarely cheap. I’m looking forward to seeing yours with the muddies mounted.

Yup, in the spare wheel well.

The aux fuel tank has no markings I can see and looks hand made. The welds are not from someone who welds every day, definately not TIG welded. To be honest, I haven't welded professionally for 20 years, but I reckon I could have done a better job with a bit of practice first. The hangers are cut 40mm RHS. Any decent metal worker would have custom made the hangers to suit the fitting better. The electric transfer pump is held on by one self tapping screw into the car frame, and the electrical connector is just a std 6.3mm blade, not even a locking connector. Got a few things to fix up to my standards.
