Just an extra bit of info , seems to be way worse when AC is on. When compressor cycles on it can trigger the hesitation so maybe power related issue such as dodgy relay or bad earth. It still happens when AC is off but way less frequently, it stalled twice at lights on my way to work tonight.
Its got coil over plugs, so no leads or dizzy cap.
Its not like a single cylinder is playing up but the whole lot.
What would Crank sensor or Cam sensor starting to fail do?
Although bad sensors would throw a code.
Fuel filter was changed in the last year, but the car had sat for a few years before I got it. Mind you it has driven 18mths and 30000km before this issue without problems.
