Exclamation AEV GEN-2 Snorkel & Airaid CAI Install

Thanks
Gidday asp_777, normal driving, no extra noise, engine sounds slightly deeper, when you jump on the gas sounds awesome, has a very smooth gentle roar, not a drone or anything just a good smooth note, sounds like it should

The Airaid & AEV GEN-2 went together really well, I just had to trim back the Snorkel where it entered the Airaid Intake Box to clear the Filter, (approx 40MM) I then bolted everything together, (sickaflex Snorkel where it bolts to Intake Box first), I then installed & aligned everything, bolted up tight, I then re-sikaflexed the join where the Snorkel enters the Intake Box from the inside (to ensure a water tight seal) as the Intake Box & Snorkel are quite flexible until both are bolted in tight) I then cleaned all sickaflex residue of & installed the Filter (quite a tight fit) then installed the cover, job done,

I also installed the Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer while I had everything stripped as it couldnt hurt, I can honestly say as previously mentioned with all of the above installed I have noticed a significant difference in throttle response & low end torque, & I have yet to install the AFE 2.5 Cat Back Exhaust System, the AEV GEN-2 Snorkel & Airaid CAI are really well made & are of a very high quality, 110% happy with my purchase & outcome, the Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer is once again very well made & is very high quality, I am going to do some more testing on this peice of kit when I am home next I would like to run my jeep for 1500K various applications, then remove it & see if I notice a difference, hope this helps mate, let me know if you need any more info

Big Thanks To Gavin & Olivia At Crusin On Wangara Great Job & Great People

Over the last 2 weeks, finally wired up the LED spots, fitted the AEV Gen2 snorkel, and the slider steps.
Been nice and busy, but looks good now.
Next step, in a few months, will be to look great, with some 35" MTs..

Default Couple of Minor improvements

Installed Hotheadliners which are a very high quality and well designed product. Ran some tests before and after and there was only a 4dB reduction of noise inside the cab, however noticeable reduction in general temperature control. (cant quantify it as to many variables to test properly).

Went over and saw Stu and got a Synergy High Mount Steering Stabliser Relocation bracket fitted. Also picked up an AEV jack base as I didnt like the thought of being stuck beside the road unable to change a tyre properly!
