Default XJ: KJ`s Cherokee Build

Thought its time to start a build thread .Currently have a 99 xj on 31`s around 4" lift stock gearing home made front bar and sliders ,sye and d44 rear.
I have 33x 12.5 x15 " mtz`s and pro comp alloy 15x8 "4.5 " back space rims i will be running . As well as adding lockers front and rear with 456 gearing upgrading front and rear 30 spline alloy axles ,have not decided if ill truss or do tube insert on the front diff , i already have a front arb locker but that has to go to make way for 456 gearing

I`ve had some iceland offroad flares on order for some time now ,since sept and they finally arrived on fri so im starting with fitting them as the xj is getting a new paint job when finished as its got a few battle scars .

here is a few pics of front flare fit with the 33 and alloy rim.

they have big blobs of liquid nails type stuff with bolts set in the middle of it the mountings seem solid ,makes it hard to put bolt holes in the right place on the guard .thats why i made the carboard template.

no need for a new locker ,just get a new locker case to suit the 456's for around $150.00 from arb and swop the interals over.
thats what I did on my low pinion d30 went from 307's to 488's the swop is a 5 min job
