Hi Bowriver ,
If you can get a wiring diagram from your local jeep dealer, i went to mine and they punched in the vin to the computer and the headlight wiring with all the wire colours came out . Failing that if you can locate the wire going to the high beam light you can splice into that.

So I've read around about where to get the trigger from the high beam wire.

I'm sure I could fluff my way through and get there in the end but, how is everyone powering everything?

I've read about people taking power from the fuse box? Have I miss understood this? Anyone got any good pics that could help me with wiring up a LED bar myself? Got a harness from with everything. Just not sure about the whole positive switching and a few other things.

Any help muchly appreciated.

I took mine from the passenger side headlight harness - from memory I think it was a white wire with blue stripe (but I wouldn't work just from that.. my memory can be a bit crap).

Probing with a test light found the wire I needed to tap into. I had to remove the airbox to get at it or I'd duck out at lunch time today and get a photo for you.

If you get really stuck, let me know and I'll go and get photos.
