is this the first limp mode you have experienced with the car. Have you had it since new??

Throttle response is the latest of a few codes that have flashed up on mine and we are still trying to find the cause. same MY14 Limited diesel 50,000ks

I didnt get the slipped clutch sound though but it did happen under load when going up a hill. As did yours when you accelerated to overtake. I had a sucked air sound with mine.

Jeep did the manual burn initially but it limped again soon after.

If that is your jeep dealers attitude then start looking for one that is going to help you. This bloke is going to be a prick, I back it in..

Will watch with interest.

Benn0 - no OB2 reader. At the moment the car is parked at home. We flew up to Cairns this morning for a weeks warmth and hopefully sunshine!

KJ - Yep I am the first owner and the car has never gone into limp mode before

Just read my initial post. So I give an accurate account, to confirm the service trans message didn't appear straight away. Only came up when I limped her home and was reversing up the driveway.

It is Murphies Law. I just bought new AT's and ordered a Dobinsons lift on Friday. The car might be protesting!

Hi guys;
Had an issue with the throttle light coming on in my grand . Have found if you turn off the vehicle leave your foot off the brake and push the start button three times the throttle alarm turns off but the engine light stays on but it takes the car out of the limp mode . had to do this when the turbo pipe split towing my van was ok on the flat but faulted on every hill from Merimbula to Traralgon what a pain the hurt didnt stop there either $ 700 for a new pipe.

That's why the extra 3 year warranty was part of my purchasing budget from the day I decided to replace the Commander. Another 75,000km peace of mind.

oldon :
the pipe is three pieces two silicon tubes and a cast pipe, that goes over the engine block and unfortunately Chrysler only sell it as a complete spare not individual pieces
