I had the same 'service throttle control module' come on at exactly 30k km.
We were driving home (1600km) and coming down last hill into town, the driver touched the brake pedal to cancel the cruise control ( I like to use the buttons on steering wheel, but its hard to teach some old dogs new tricks
). As he touched the pedal the warning came up on the dash and the car went into limp mode. The car had close to half a tank of fuel.
The car wouldn't start again and we towed it the last 2km. I plugged in the scangauge to check for codes and there were 2, can't remember exact numbers but from searching online they were related to low fuel rail pressure. I cleared the codes and it still wouldn't start. So I called the dealer who thought it may be the in-tank fuel pump so he asked me to open the drain screw on the fuel filter and start the car, no more fuel bled through.
Anyway, the car was towed 450km to the nearest repairer who simply tried to start the car a few times. It started after about 10 attempts and had no dramas for a week or so, so I picked it up and haven't had any problems since (close to 4 months now).
Doesn't help with the original question but maybe there's an underlying issue with the cruise control, seems to be the main constant?
