$65,000 wouldn't cover the cost of my '01 GC, it was $72,000 new. The SRT8 will be somewhere over $80k I'd say. No indication of pricing at the stage though.

Jeepx2

$80k is still cheap for a car like that - try and get High performance Ford or Holden for under $90k.

look at the new Discovery D3 prices cheapest v8 $65 plus on roads

would love one of these

good luck with getting one

Don't take my estimate as gospel, it wouldn't surprise me if it was closer to the $100k mark than the $80k mark frankly.

so who's gonna rush out a nd buy one now????
once a car reaches $50,000 its considered overpriced to me..
but $100,000 thats ridiculous.

The same people who'd spend $140k+ on a Cayenne S, possible those who might buy a new $130k ML500, or even those who'd buy $150k X5 4.6. You have to put the market they're aiming at in perspective. Frankly, I think a SRT8 at around the $100k mark is way better bang for the buck compared to the aforementioned models.
