Warn Industries has introduced the 9.0R, designed exclusively for competitive rockcrawlers.
Weighing in at only 48 pounds and only 17 inches wide, this winch is definitely no lightweight - especially when it comes to the power department, as it is rated at a full 9,000 pounds.
The 9.0R comes painted bright red and includes a remote solenoid box for easier winch mounting, a remote control, and a special polished “W-shaped” aluminum fairlead.
Both front and rear winches can be used not only in vehicle recovery, but also to compress the front or rear suspensions on either steep inclines or declines, eliminating the springing back of the suspension that can actually push the vehicle away from the rock, resulting in either end of the buggy going airborne! Definitely not a good thing!
