Telescopic Steering Column
If anyone has had this happen before let me know.
A couple of days ago the up/Down adjustment stopped working.
My wife and I both drive the GC so its set for both of us, now it just stays in one position.
It will still go in and out but that's it.
Wondering if one of my kids chanaged a setting or such.
Have booked in with Jeep but don't want to waste their time if I don't have too.
Checked the Fuse #97 but it didn't looked blown.

Do you mean the memory settings for the seat, steering wheel etc have stopped working? If so, turn off the easy/exit setting in uconnect (uncheck it), then move the seat all the way forward and then all the way back. It should reset everything.

No that still works, but I will try your suggestion anyway to to check every option.
Seems like it just the steering column adjustment only.
Thanks for your input though

Do the reset and run the steering column adjustment full range as well. Sometimes the computer just forgets what the full range of movement is.
Cheers

After having the one hour update done to the header unit, the system would not do the easy entry/exit thing. The foreman took a look at it and did something like: turned the car off, turned it on and ran the seat all the way forward, all the way back, then did the same with the steering column and then turned it off and on again. Hey, Presto, fixed! He said the system simply forgot what the maximum ranges of adjustment were so gave up.
I posted the fix, but it was a while ago and I gave up trying to find the exact process as it is probably 20 pages back by now!
Cheers
