Thanks Nanook. Have heard of some getting a 2" lift and a 1" body lift. Would you need to do the brake lines etc, and is it worth doing the body lift as well?

Cheers, Craig

No. Don't do a body lift on a JK. Totally unnecessary and a pain in the butt. 2in lift and flat flares will run up to 37's is you must, but 35's will fit under stock flares on 2in suspension lift (just).

At 2in you may need a small bracket to drop the brake line mouting point on the chassis but thats about it.

Personally I went with a made up kit using suspension stuff flexy coils and Bilstien 5100 shocks, but the AEV kit is quite good. At 2.5in though I went the extra step and fitted front adjustable track bar, rear trackbar relocation bracket and control arm drop brackets. Not totally necessary but i idid it anyway!

It's 1 inch above stock. 3/4 inch spacers and JKU spring returned it so stock + 1/4 inch of height after the original springs sagged 35ml due to front & rear bar.

It just touches at full flex... so might need to a teeny bit more lift.
